What types of services does Oakpointe provide?

Oakpointe provides email support, phone support and on-site consulting for both of DBA Software’s products: DBA Classic and DBA Next Generation.

What type of support does Oakpointe provide?

Oakpointe provides phone support, email support and on-site consulting, as well as web-based training, network troubleshooting and other services such as database and report customization.

What advantage does Oakpointe have over other DBA consultants?

Oakpointe was started by former senior members of DBA Software’s Technical Support staff. Direct involvement in the development of both DBA ERP programs (DBA Manufacturing - Classic and DBA Manufacturing - Next Generation) gives Oakpointe an advantage over other consultants. Oakpointe can share their intimate knowledge of the software with your company.

They have also worked hands-on with many users over the years, so they understand the challenges involved with implementing the software because they have actually done it. Supporting only a few software packages allows Oakpointe to focus on quality service and expert advice.

How much does phone support for DBA cost?

Phone support for DBA is $160.00 an hour. If 2 hours of support are purchased, Oakpointe will give a third hour for free making the cost per hour about $106.00.

How can support be purchased?

Support can be purchased with a credit card or check through the website here.

We are interested in having Oakpointe come and work with us on-site. What is the cost for that?

On–site engagements are priced individually, depending upon your requirements. Please let Matt and Robert know that you would like a quote, and they will contact you with more specific information.

Does the pre-paid support time ever expire?

No. Support time is decremented from your account as you use it, but it never expires.

Can I use pre-paid support for both DBA Classic and DBA Next Generation?

Yes. Oakpointe supports both DBA Software products, so you may use your support time for help with both DBA Classic and DBA Next Generation.

If the Video Training classes are purchased, can I share them with other people in my company and how many people can view them?

Yes. Once purchased, the video training classes can be shared with anyone in your organization and there is no limit to the number of people that can be given access to view directly from the website. You will be given a username and password with which you may log in as often as needed or you can download the classes and save them for offline viewing.
